The aim of the Quality Improvement Committee (QIC) is to provide resources to organizations/hospitals interested in improving quality control, help them implementing such measures, and connect them with people who have done similar projects in the past. The committee currently has 17 members, 15 of them medical professionals with a vast experience in quality improvement and patient safety.

The QIC has written a statement on how to operationalize the Sepsis-3 definitions, which you can read and download here.

The QIC is responsibly for the GSA Quality Measures Survey, which closed March 1st, 2019 and is currently being analyzed and evaluated.
